The Horizon Europe RECREATE (REcycling technologies for Circular REuse and remanufacturing of fiber-reinforced composite mATErials) project aims to develop a set of innovative technologies which will exploit the potential of end-of-life complex composite waste (mainly carbon fibre reinforced composites and glass fibre reinforced composites) as a feedstock for reusing parts and materials in the manufacturing industry.
It is organising a series of webinars; this third session will look at practical and emerging approaches for recovering value from end-of-life composite parts. It will bring together research and industry perspectives on characterising recycled fibres, controlled debonding methods for mobility applications, and mild solvolysis techniques for extracting high-value materials.
Each presentation will highlight advances in technology and application, followed by a short Q&A session with the speakers.
