The World Bioeconomy Forum goes to Rio de Janeiro will be a landmark event, continuing to place Rio de Janeiro at the center of the global bioeconomy conversation. The Forum will advance the High-Level Principles on the Bioeconomy, endorsed by the G20 and reinforced in Brazil’s G20 Declaration, by serving as a platform for global stakeholders to drive sustainable innovation, investment, and policy alignment. The event will serve as a critical bridge connecting the G20 High-Level Principles with the South Africa G20 presidency in 2025 and COP30 in Bélem, Brazil.
