As the host country of COP31, Türkiye will become a central hub of global climate diplomacy in 2026. The summit will bring together heads of state, ministers, scientists, private sector leaders, NGOs, and international organizations to shape the next phase of climate action.

The COP31 agenda is expected to focus on strengthening Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), climate finance mechanisms, energy transition, carbon reduction strategies, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and nature-based solutions. Critical global challenges such as sea-level rise, water scarcity, food security, and biodiversity loss will also be addressed through concrete climate risk management strategies.
